Pro Tips for Application
For extension services, TGB requires Rubber Base or Bond Base underneath Fibre BIABâ„¢ to support adhesion and retention.
The clear finish also makes it a great choice for encapsulation, natural-looking overlays and services where you don't want your builder colour competing with the finished design.
Manufacturer application & curing
- Prepare the natural nail using the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact formula. Keep uncured gel off the skin.
- Apply a thin Fibre BIAB layer and cure for 99 seconds on Low Heat Mode in the TGB lamp. Rubber Base or Bond Base may be used underneath for additional retention depending on the natural nail.
- For extensions with Fibre BIAB Clear, use Rubber Base or Bond Base underneath, as specified on the manufacturer’s Clear product page.
- Build one nail at a time with a controlled bead, creating the appropriate structure without excess at the cuticle or free edge. Cure each structural layer for 99 seconds on Low Heat Mode in the TGB lamp; add another layer only where needed.
- Refine after curing if needed. Finish with a compatible TGB colour or top coat and follow that product’s own curing instructions.
Removal
Remove the top coat and debulk as needed, then acetone-wrap for 10–15 minutes. Re-wrap if necessary; never force product off. HEMA-free formulas may need further debulking before soaking.
