Efiles come with a hefty price tag.  BUT they do make our jobs so much easier, not to mention, when using your efile correctly, it can add years to your career.

Make sure to service your hand piece periodically and never put wet bits in it.

Choose your bits according to the job that you are doing, sharp bits make short work and take little effort.
