Bad Romance Gel Polish by Ugly Duckling is a dangerously dark red-black gel polish loaded with red glitter for a deep, vampy finish with plenty of sparkle.

Ugly Duckling's square glass bottles are designed for easy storage in salon drawers and polish racks, with thicker glass for added protection against the inevitable knocky-downy-boo-boos.

Pro Tips for Application

Apply in thin, even coats. With highly pigmented dark shades, thinner layers help ensure proper curing while still giving you rich, even coverage.

Keep the first coat controlled. Don't chase perfect opacity by applying it too heavily. Build the depth with your second coat.

Cap the free edge lightly. Especially on full-colour manicures, this gives the finished application a clean, polished edge without creating bulk.

Try it glossy AND matte. A glossy top coat brings out Old Money's subtle shimmer, while a matte finish turns it into a rich, velvety green with the shimmer sitting quietly underneath.

Use it for detail work. The high pigmentation makes Old Money a great option for fine lines, French details and salon nail art.

Pair with gold. Old Money + gold chrome, foil or metallic detailing is basically begging to happen. Very trust fund with excellent cuticles. 😂

Cure according to Ugly Duckling's recommended lamp and cure times. Highly pigmented colours need a complete cure, so don't shorten the cure just because the surface looks finished.
