Tortuga is a warm-toned semi-sheer brown glass gel polish with a subtle amber undertone — think sunlit tortoiseshell on golden sands.
Designed to layer for custom nail art, this warm shade is a great base for tortoiseshell nails. Its sheer, buildable formula creates a stained-glass glow that catches eyes and adds richness and warmth to your wildest nail art.
Application & curing
- Prepare the natural nail following TGB’s professional prep guide, then cleanse and dehydrate. Keep uncured product off the skin.
- Apply a thin, even layer of a suitable TGB base. The gel-polish guide specifies 99 seconds on Low Heat Mode for the base step.
- Apply two thin colour coats, curing each for 60 seconds in the TGB Light The Way Nail Lamp.
- Finish with a compatible TGB top coat and use that top coat’s own curing instructions.
Removal
File away the top-coat shine, then wrap with pure acetone for 10–15 minutes. Re-wrap if needed; never force or peel off product. Removal time varies with layers and the base underneath.
